I think it depends on how by the book you are when it comes to religion. If you look at the bible closely and study its entirety, you will see that the traits that one tries to inhabit are not human. I think it started with good intentions, but then it became awry for some, or low-key many. We are so complicated, and the bible is such a balanced book, like one side for good and one side for evil, and then there is that gray matter of politics. I knew some Christians who only put certain boundaries on themselves, but they never set limits on others, which I think is fine? At the same time, I feel like what’s wrong with saying you’re a Christian in spirit, but you don’t justify things because of God and just do whatever you want?
