Hello, my fellow poets! So I’ve decided to create my publication that will allow only a specific kind of poetry — and that is personification poems. I call this publication “White Objects” because I associated the color white as innocence, meaning that any object is innocent before its owner’s point of contact, though depending on the intention.

The men are here.


I’m the one who knocks.
The house was built by my own
Chopping blocks,

This is the revenge of the trees
That I’ve decapitated, the amount
Of green heads that I’ve severed

Aren’t enough of what I have to give.
I stay quiet, hoping for them to
Let me live until I realized my

Whitewood was already ablaze,
Making songs with its pop and crackle,
Along with the creaking floorboards

That I’ve pressured.
The fresh black smog was crystal dust,
Emphasizing the present tense.

Hopefully, This Is the Last Time I Will Say This

Hey everyone!

Briefly, I want to say that I’m no longer accepting poems that pertain to nature or food. I want poems that focus on things, like chairs, tools, stones, streetlights, what have you.

I’ve been consistent with this, but honestly, I can be such a softy sometimes, and I don’t want to be viewed as a stickler. I may indeed have rejected more pieces than accept them.

I would publish poems that aren’t following my rules because they truly compelled me. It’s time I put my foot down (for the third time and final) and say once again that…
